(Groton-AP, May 13, 2005 Updated 9:25 AM) _ Southeastern Connecticut could take a big economic hit.

The Associated Press has learned the U.S. Naval Submarine Base in Groton is on the Pentagon's list of proposed base closures.

A U.S. Army Reserve Center in New Haven and Air Guard Station at Bradley Airport are also on the Pentagon list to be shut down.
