Guests on Tony's show today include:

Senator George Allen who will join Tony for analysis on the John Bolton nomination.

PBS chief Kenneth Tomlinsonwill be on hand to defend his allegations that PBS is biased against conservatives.

With everything going on about Bolton, judicial nominations, and now Harry Reid and CBS, I’m sure Tony will have something featured on them as well.

It's Sherriff Beauchard. Sheriff in MI. Sheriff Beauchard says that he has no idea what Reid could be talking about. Beauchard himself has top clearance and if there was anything in Saad's files he'd have been told of it.

Saad's been nominated and passed in judiciary 3 times, this couldn't have happened if there was something in his file. Says it's personal because Levin wants his cousin's wife to get an appointment. Also that Stabinow got up in arms because Saab emailed somebody that she "practices politics and may pay a price" for gamesmanship the RATS are playing with the nominations in MI.

Beauchard says many of Saab's rulings are very important as to how LE is able to do their jobs in MI. Also brings up that Judge Saad is Arab, and the hypocrisy of bringing these personal attacks against him.

Tony asks if Saab will give up? Beauchard says everybody is encouraging Saab to hang in there and not let the RATS win.

I heard Tony's show yesterday evening (KLIF in Dallas broadcasts it late). I was stunned at Tony's comments about Voinovich. Tony is the most gentlemanly of all the talk show hosts I've listened to, and he just ripped Voinovich a new one!

For someone to rile up Mr. Snow that way, he's got to be a crapweasel of the highest order!

Can't wait to hear tonight's show. Keep it up Tony! You rock!

This stuff just gets more fun every day...

Every time I recommend your show to someone, I tell them that it ought to be illegal for anyone to have as much fun at work as you obviously do.

Everybody,

Thanks again for the thread and for listening. Next week's attractions include Ken Starr, Bill Frist, Peter Paul -- and perhaps one blockbuster guest I'm still working on. This stuff just gets more fun every day...

Tony said they called teh Border Patrol to try to get a spokesperson on. They were told no spokesman would speak with Tony's show today, tomorrow or ever!

Is that because Tony has called for stronger borders?

Thanks for the alert, prairie. Being out west I miss the show due to my own schedule but I have been reading some of the updates and you are doing a great job of transcribing what is being said.

Glad you're on the mend, Tony. You are also doing a great job.

No, I don't necessarily think so. Tony made a comment on today's show that he'd been slow to get onto the immigration issue. Thought it was just some people blowing stuff out of proportion etc. But he'd been focusing on it more lately.

I think this story about the BP and then their reaction when the show called for their response has really piqued his interest.

BTW for clarity, Tony brought the lady on his staff that calls and coordinates the booking of guests on the air today and had HER tell what the BP reaction was when she called to ask for an interview. The show was basically told, "no way Jose, it ain't gonna happen".

Great show Tony. Have to listen on the web at this point. Thanks for all the work and so glad that you are feeling better...

Looking forward to next week.

I signed up for your email alerts and also gave you a couple possible AM stations way up here in the Vampire State....

That is a really odd response from the BP and I can't imagine why they wouldn't go on his show. Unless they are prohibited from going on ANY shows. But then they need to have a PR office who DOES go on television and radio shows to defend their policies. Not that I think they are defensible.

Exactly what Tony says usually does happen. Usually a govt spokesperson or an office handles the press and gives them, if not interviews, press statements etc.

When Tony brought his guest coordinator staff person on, you could tell by the tone of her voice that the request for information, interview, or the time of day was being flatly rejected.

Tony made quite a lot of it during the rest of his show saying that apparently the higher ups in the BP were encouraging the officers to have a siesta, have a smoke, take a potty break, grab a beer....anything but do their job and arrest people at a higher number than what was done when the Minutemen were present.
