Serial Killer Michael Ross Executed in Connecticut
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
(From a previous story)
"The last execution in New England was in 1960, when Joseph "Mad Dog" Taborsky went to the electric chair in Connecticut. Of the six New England states, only Connecticut and New Hampshire have the death penalty. New Hampshire has no one on death row and has not executed anyone since 1939."
Good.
EOM.
BBzzzzzzzz Bzzzzzzzzzzz! Hey is that the electric chair or the vibrator? hehehehe 'ANother one bytes the dust"!!!
Take a hike.
I have struggled with the idea of capital punishment for years. I believe in the sanctity of life. I know that, personally, I could never partake in this process. But the morality is different when it comes to capital punishment. I understand both sides. Every individual must decide for him or herself. Even so, I will remind everyone that it is still something for serious contemplation and not a situation for jokes, for politicizing, or for simple ignorant relishing of death to the guilty.

I understand how you feel. I hate abortion and am not keen on Capital Punishment because of my feeligns on the sanctity of life. The way I feel is that I would stand in the way of someone trying to kill a baby but I would not be so inclined to do the same for a serial child rapist/murder.
His gift of free will is our ultimate test.
They let him off easy. Just a little needle prick in the arm before he died. Certainly more merciful than the kids he raped and murdered got.
It sure as hell would help bring in that conservative audience Ken Ferree is angling for. ;)

No
Awwww, i hope they gave him a band aid and lolipop for the little needle prick on his arm /sarc! hehehehe
With the exception, perhaps, of the Creator himself.
They had a buffoon on FNC today that said Ross was "suffering" from "six different mental illnesses." In the good old days, one was either crazy or not crazy. Now you can be crazy in six different ways all at the same time. Shyster "lawyers." I'll never understand those knuckleheads.
Thank you for an intelligent, thoughtful response. As I said, I made a decision for me personally, but I can understand fully the other side. I don't, however, think glee is appropriate, which is what many here seem to revel in.
At least 17 years too late....but we'll take it.
"hey had a buffoon on FNC today that said Ross was "suffering" from "six different mental illnesses.'"
They found a cure for all six at once this morning.
I don't know if anyone else is watching the MSNBC interview of Michael Ross but it's chilling. Those poor girls. I don't know why we are so stupid in this country and don't execute these bastards more often. This demon would still be alive today if it weren't for him wanting to be executed.
And idiots seem to have a funny way of repeatedly getting themselves onto California juries. I just heard that deliberations in the Avila sentencing won't resume until Monday, so I guess the jurors will have a three-day weekend to think about it. Unbelievable. They've already gone at it for five and a half hours.
Of course, Avila's defense team has been portraying their client as a victim of abuse when he was a child. It's the typical liberal excuse-making. If Avila really was a victim of abuse as a child, that's all the more reason for him to know exactly what he was putting Samantha and her family through.
