If the Border patrol isn't going to do their job, why are the taxpayers funding them? Cut the program. It's a waste of money.

Right... cut the program, that'll make it all better! No, Bush needs to fund his 1,000 new border patrol agents. But like the liar he is, he has done just like Clinton and taken credit for an unfunded mandate. At least in Clinton's defense, he was only taking credit for street cops, Bush is AWOL on an actual federal responsibility.

What is Bush's motivation? Too much Texas chili? Too fond of the Latin ladies like his sister-in-law Columba? Is he crazy for Mexican oil? Is his "compassionate conservatism" that proverbial road to Hell paved with good intentions?
