Gil Tanner and his Skillet lickers? (1920's-30's era) They did a great version of the Mule Skinner Blues,

Now see ya got me. I can't resist. I've never heard of them or the song, but would love to hear that one too.. but I ain't gonna push my luck today.. I am happier than a gopher in soft dirt already.. !!!! Thank you and thanks to Uncle Shag.... :) Added to my heroes list for the day..

This is the very first post I made here at FR linking music and a graphic together.
There are those who say I was the first to post something like this.
I did it on the first quarter freepathon back in year 2000.
(People went kinda nuts over it. I didn't think that I'd done anything that great.)
