Gil Tanner and his Skillet lickers? (1920's-30's era) They did a great version of the Mule Skinner Blues, Now see ya got me. I can't resist. I've never heard of them or the song, but would love to hear that one too.. but I ain't gonna push my luck today.. I am happier than a gopher in soft dirt already.. !!!!
