Right on the money.
I need some help here. THe NYT ran a article in 2003 or 2004 about a book found from Harry Truman's collection that he inscribed with such vitriolic anti-semitism that they won't show it with the public. Can one of my fellow freeper come up with this piece?

Nice work! Thank you! Truman is always hailed as one of the first to recognize the state of Israel. But he did this out of international prudency, not any feeling he had for a Jewish State.
Stalin assumed that because of all of the ex-soviet Jews heading for the holy land that he could have a major foothold in a Jewish state. SO he pushed this through his puppets now running Czechlosvakia, initally through arms shipments. Truman became alarmed and so made sure that the United States would be the first to recognize Israel.

Perhaps that should be. . .the 'bastion' that is Liberal.
Irrespective of geography, we recognize other 'Liberal bastions', that not accidentally, have been given form, shape, size, influence i.e. universities, psychiatry, entertainment, medicine, law; finance. . .
Serious Liberalism began with the influx of Middle Europeans during and after World War II. Most of these people were fleeing Nazism; Stalinism. . . totalitarianism; but they did not leave all behind.
They 'left the mistake'; fled from disaster. . .and carried with them a 'core belief'. . .what they believed was a principle of Marxist philosophy; (I think, a kind of familiar European feudalism - enhanced, they imagined, with 'spirit'). Many were communists; big 'C' and small; and while not exclusively, many were Jewish.
This was the beginning of our 'Liberal bastions'.

Because a Jew is always struggling to overcome his fear of worthlessness, he spends his time finding ways to prove he not only has a big fortune, but that he has an even bigger heart. That is why when he gives to charities, such as a hospital that will put his name on it. He becomes a member of a club where there are special events where his charity will be announced. He joins a temple were a rabbi will give him a special seat next to the Holy Torah. His main ambition is to become rich enough to give so much to charity that he will be asked to be the main speaker at a dinner in his honor, where pictures of him will be taken all night so he can look at them the rest of his life to remind himself that he made money not for himself, but because of his compassion and selfless devotion to humanitarian causes.
Are you fricking kidding me? This reads like something out of Ford's "International Jew". This is disgusting.

Let us consider the actual, worldly Jew – not the Sabbath Jew, as Bauer does, but the everyday Jew.
Let us not look for the secret of the Jew in his religion, but let us look for the secret of his religion in the real Jew.
What is the secular basis of Judaism? Practical need, self-interest. What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money.
Very well then! Emancipation from huckstering and money, consequently from practical, real Judaism, would be the self-emancipation of our time.
An organization of society which would abolish the preconditions for huckstering, and therefore the possibility of huckstering, would make the Jew impossible. His religious consciousness would be dissipated like a thin haze in the real, vital air of society. This is no isolated fact. The Jew has emancipated himself in a Jewish manner, not only because he has acquired financial power, but also because, through him and also apart from him, money has become a world power and the practical Jewish spirit has become the practical spirit of the Christian nations. The Jews have emancipated themselves insofar as the Christians have become Jews.
