The border will have to be secured. There is no other choice aside from attacking Syria, and I doubt the administration has the will to do that.
I think it was Gen Conway who noted yesterday that many of the Lions of Islam being killed at Qaim were "uniformed ". But he couldn't/wouldn't supply details as to whether any nation was indicated or whether the clothing was just mish-mash army surplus. If any of these border bandits show ANY connection to Syria I got cold beer that says that Syria/Iraq border will be in iminent danger of becoming WIDER.
