Is it your opinion that if police are breaking into your home you can't defend yourself?

If there is call for help someone will take down a door to see what is wrong. Why did the guy not answer? I bet they knocked.
Remember these are people. There is today a doctor and a cop who probably are kicking themselves asking what more they could have done to prevent this.

Hmmm because he was pointing a gun at the police maybe??? Because the police officer didn't want to be shot? Call me crazy.
To: FreedomHasACost
Also just remember one little thing: The police and fire department do not have a constitutional responsibility to kick down a door and invade a home without a warrant. Look it up.
In my book, if you start something stupid, the consequences are on your head.

Well, I sure would like to know your home address, so I never try to help and end up getting shot for it.

You don't help by kicking down doors of people without a lawful reason. Are you too dense to understand that? It was the man's own condo!

He's obviously a statist. Owning the means of self defense is not a damned privilege - it is a right. His home page is deceptive.
I think somebody else is using his computer.

Perhaps you missed the part that they didn't have a warrent. Furthermore, if they thought that it was a suicide by cop attempt (highly doubtful), there is CS, ballbag guns, stunners, etc.

You assume they went in planning to shoot him. They sent in a SWAT and they seem to be the only ones who fired. Hmmm.

I know this is out of context but... if you call 911 and say you need help, would you want me to come in whether or not you answered?
If you called because you thought you were having a heart attack but then did not answer would that be a reason for me to come in? (i.e.)

Why didn't he answer, geeze, I don't know 9:30 PM, crippled 67 year old. Bet he was just planning on hopping right out of bed and sprinting to the door.

Different situation entirely. Nobody called and said this individual was having a heart attack, now did they?
No more strawmen!

That was an example I gave you silly! I said so too. Would it be reasonable in that "example" situation?

He wasn't in bed according to the story. Why would he aim at the firemen instead of asking them to leave? Something is wrong here.

If the complainant called from the premises, yes. Modern technology, you know.

Also, if he was there alone he had to be capable of getting the door.

But not if your child called because they hadn't heard from you in awhile and were very concerned and then you didn't answer?

Noticed the Bush's Gulag thing about Homeland security on his webpage? Yep, that's one of the things that makes me believe his computer has been hijacked.
He also seems to be critical of police on his page.
