I have two siblings (and their families) who are vegans. One is the aforementioned brother and the other is a another brother with a metabolism so high he can eat constantly. Slim, but all muscle.
Cooking for and eating with them is quite fun actually. There are lots of foods out there that I've brought into my diet because of them :)
I saw a term called "Flexitarian" which was used for those who eat mostly a plant based diet with small amounts of animal protein.
I think that is a good term for me. BTW, we are all raised on a farm, hunted, fished, butchered our on meat etc... but 3 out of 4 of us greatly prefer veges over meat. I think we all (or at least me) got to the 'ugh' point.

I dated a girl in college like that. She grew up on a farm and didn't eat much meat. We would go for a steak or chicken once in a while though.
