OMG---Dodd just said that he was gonna write in his diary tonight about a "senatorial moment"---he said there aren't many, but he has experienced a rare"senatorial moment" and he wants to thank his "friend from Ohio" for the speech this morning and going against his party like he did....
and oh, what a wonderful day it is when someone does what Voinivich did!!!
Can I barf now?
BTW, Sen. Byrd is putting forth an amendment to the Trans. Bill that --get this-- would give a $500 tax credit to people that have to commute over 250 miles a week to go to work!!!! I am not joking! and this will be regulated, how? and who will make sure that those 250 miles are only to and from work? Byrd is a kook!
Now Dodd is claiming he would feel the same about Bolton if a Democrat was in the W.H. Anyone here believe that?
Some in California will be thrilled 250 miles....I've even heard of a few doing that in one day!
Wow, let's see now, I drive 10 miles to work and 10 miles home. But wait, I have to go to the grocery store, the family needs food, so that should count. My family likes "special food" so I have to go to a special store. 80 miles away. (am I getting to 250 miles yet?) Oh yeah, I have to go to this special store twice a week because my family is allergic to food that is not really, really fresh. /s
Wow. Since when did Byrd represent Atlanta?
I'll join you. There are never repercussions for their statements that they do in that smarmy, phony 'elected official' way.
