I see more passionate debate in the House of Lords than in the American Senate. With a few exceptions, they all think they're in some bloody country club and they all have to place nice with each other.

Yep, my wife and I've enjoyed watching a few rounds. The phrase "lively debate" does frequently come to mind.

I know, this must seem awfully tame compared to what Tony Blair has to go through during his questioning period!!

I am always amazed at how quick Blair is with an answer for every question.
