First, your county map does not support your position with regard to Stone Mountain. Stone Mountain is in DeKalb Country. No county in the State of Georgia was more blue in the 2004 election. And, as I said, Stone Mountain itself was more than 75% Kerry - that's from the Secretary of State precinct returns.

Hall county did go GOP. Gainesville was the least red area in the country. And getting more blue with every baby born there.

Then I am wrong and stand corrected about Stone Mountain. Come to think of it, didn't they just elect a black mayor? In Atlanta that generally equates with Democrat. Thanks for the info.

BTW , do you have a better map for election results in Georgia? That one is kind of fuzzy by the time you blow it up.
