One thing is clear. Republican Senators feel more comfortable in the Minority. I'm off to buy myself another huge gas-guzzling SUV now.

Not another Dime of mine goes to the Republican Party ever if Bolton gets rejected ! Regardless of what happens...remember also that GEORGE VOINOVICH IS FINISHED IN REPUBLICAN POLITICS. I don't care if he runs for dog catcher...I will do pro-bono work for anyone who opposes this low-life traitor. How dare he spew such hate-filled lies at a great public servant like John Bolton.

Biden whiningly slurping Powell. Mercy! Somebody put a cork in its mouth.

Voinovich isn't up again until 2010 so he probably feels safe to be an ass.
I hope the people of Ohio punish him somehow before then and I hope a better GOP candidate takes him on in 2010.

Tony Snow says the Pub fence sitters have been gradually moving over to the Pres's side. Hatch agrees. Hatch says there are frequently delays in judiary committee. Reagan got 300 confirmed with 6 years of his own party running the committee. Clinton got 372 in only 2 years of his own party in charge of teh committee.
Clinton nominated several quite late and the background checks couldn't possibly have been accomplished.

I just called Trent Lotts office and told them the same, not another dime, not even a nickel, told them that the dimwits are running Washington anyhow so why not vote them in. Besides, with the dims, I will get more money from SS WHICH I do not need.

"neocon" is frequently used by the left to describe people in the Bush43 administration (wrongly by the way). Thus the dead giveaway.

Thanks for the info. I recently finished Jeffrey Archer's "First Among Equals," and it's a lesson on the British parliament that a dumb Yank like me couldn't buy.

Wowers! Imagine being in the room and having to sit through the pompous pontificating of bloviating Biden! I actually enjoy watching the irony of that jerk yelling, spitting and getting red in the face while describing Bolton's temper.

THAT is the question I really want to learn the answer to...it just feels there's more to this??
