I won't blame Lugar...I'll blame the Republican party.

Not another Dime of mine goes to the Republican Party ever if Bolton gets rejected !

Biden blathers on for 15 minutes before even getting to the nomination...

If the GOP senators buckle like you say, they will see
their fundraising (and RNC membership) dry up even more.
I refuse to be represented by moral cowards.
Hope your source is wrong.

I think so, too.

They're going for broke now.

A question, Ivan: Is it only the Opposition that sits on the back benches in the Commons, or is it only the shadow government reps and the Minsters of State who sit in front?

>>a bit of FRiendly advice, if you avoid phrases like "neocon" you will reduce your chances of being called a TROLL enormously. Someone mentioned that is a dead giveaway, they were quite right - there are some talkingpoint phrases and "neocon" is one of them. Trolls don't know that.<<

What is the preferred term instead of neocon here? I am new...

Orrin Hatch on Tony Snow's show says he's disappointed and surprised at V. Thinks that any Pub or RAT would look at Bolton's accomplishments. Says's he's tough, has cantankerous personality but so do a lot of Senators.

Says even though Bolton disagreed with certain intel reports that is needed with our intel.

Says there will be a continued attempt to demean and demonize Bolton. Says Bolton is a great guy and exactly what is needed at the UN.

Biden is so obviously in love with the sound of his own voice.

Orrin Hatch just said on the Tony Snow show that Voinovich will vote for Bolton to get out of committee.

Thanks for that link. It is QUITE informative.

The key sentence:

Cuba is the theme that runs through the ordeal of John Bolton.

The pro-Fidel Democrat Senators and their staffers need to get their butts kicked straight off of Capitol Hill.

Let 'em go live in Havana.

I hope the WH pays back Voinovich by denying him his suggestions for appointments, pork, etc. There has to be some consequence for breaking party discipline in such a high profile Presidental appointment.

When you enter the chamber, the MPs for the ruling party sit on the benches on the left. All other MPs sit on the right. Ministers and shadow ministers sit on the front benches on either side.

Regards, Ivan

Frist had better not DARE! show up in Iowa and New Hampshire in 2008, because if he is stupid enough to campaign, he'll be lucky to get 100 votes.
