ON CAPITOL HILL Bolton Vote in Committee The Senate Foreign Relations Committee conducts a debate and vote on the nomination of John Bolton as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Chair Richard Lugar (R-IN) and Ranking Member Joseph Biden (D-DE) continue a review of the nominee, based on issues raised at the committee's April 19 business meeting. 10AM-3:30PM ET ON C-SPAN3
No strokes allowed today! (Hear that you spineless Pubs?!)
And the rest of the RINO's fell like Dominoes.
Heh heh. She is a giant. She is sooo right. When you are dead your life is never really the same.
"
But, what do you want to bet that the dems will act like he hasn't said ONE word and will bring all of these discounted rumors as FACT."
Yep. That's EXACTLY how they will react. I guess if your a relativist, you won't see any contradiction with that!
He is objecting to Pryor who has already shown on 2 occasions that he will go against "the party"---when he decided against his fellow judge in Alabama, Judge Moore, to get his job back, and when he was on the 11th during the Terri Sciavo case and refused to overturn the Judge Greer's decision....
THAT should be enough proof that he doesn't rule from the heart but the law...
Lugar's remarks are very strong today. If Voinovich or others decide to bug out now, they will damage themselves severly.
It's going to be a LONG day.......we'll get a lot of "cleaning" done in the area directly adjacent to the computer area!
What channel are you seeing Unca Teddy? Or have I missed him already?
How long are Americans going to reelect obstructionist dimocraps to the senate? I cannot fathom why they would continually vote for someone who cares more about the survival of the UN over the US.
It's past time to get into the "very Serious" mode.
He seems to have covered all the "questions" that they have tried to smear Bolton with; I'm still waiting to see how this breaks -- I may medicate myself during the Dems' turn.
"I'm sure you're right. The liberal newspapers have been saying this nomination was about Bush's foreign policy."
It is about Bush's foreign policy. His foreign policy was reaffirmed by the electorate as he won reelection. The RATS still refuse to believe that they are in the minority and were the losers of the last election.
Before this is over, I wouldn't be suprised if this goes to the courts.
so , let us see which one of us can spot Janice O'Connell
VOINOVICH UP!!!!!
No, but the media won't report her changed story I'm sure.
The V speaks first!!!!
Oh, very cool!
Vonivich is up now
RINO Alert!
He was on c-span 2 during a quorom call on the floor---I can't imagine that there are very many speakers for the floor today, what with all of these committee meetings, so they might be in and out of the judiciary committee meeting.
Voinivich up---
He just met with him this week????
