What the hell happened to the mandate? If the Dems are allowing it, then it probably means they have concluded that he will lose.I maybe looking at it a bit differently. What have the RATS won lately - the gridlock war? Bolton - in. Judge filibuster - a stiff backbone would help but Dubya is now back in DC. Tax cuts - should be more on the way. Sosha Security reform - promising. In the mean time, the entire lockstep RAT Party is looking helpless, mean-spirited, insulting and petty. (Pretty neat - eh?)
Is there ANY RAT idea being pushed to the front pages right now? I don't know of one. Not one...

(Start Hillary's recount now - just to get it out of the way...)

You make very good points. Just keeping the story offensive in the liberal media is an accomplishment that is easy to overlook. We sometimes get caught up in agonizing over our lack of reaching goals fast enough. Kudos to the Republicans for at least having decent goals coming out of the wasteland of the Clintoon years.

Actually, it's the Republican Party that's looking pretty helpless. They own the House, Senate and the White House, but they can't get anything done. Unless they get the RATS permission....
They need to cowboy up and take care of business. To hell with the RATS.
