When I was a kid I swallowed matches and once a small whistle. The whistle passed without incident....except some pain.

I gather, then, that there was some form of 'incident' involving the passage of the matches?  Did it involve the fire department?

Well...there was this whistling sound, then the explosion and flame.... ;)
