Recently I had an argument/discussion with a retired army friend of mine (he served two tours of duty in Bosnia) who is extremly anti-Bush and insists that Iraq has nothing to do with the war of terror. I asked him if we were correct to fight in Afghanistan. He said of course, we have to get Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda. So then I said "you agree that fighting Al-Qaeda anywhere in the world is what we must do?" He agreed with that. Then I said "you know of course that Al-Zarqawi is a loyal Al-Qaeda operative and has been in Iraq sponsored by Hussein way before our latest Iraq war?" He quickly switched the subject.
