Hmmm, maybe Kofi didn't want the Iraq war because:
1. The golden goose would be gone?
2. The facts would come out about oil for food?
3. Chirac may have some splannin to do?
This stinks, Hyde better NOT give those records back.

Friday, at a hastily assembled press conference in New York, Mr. Volcker stepped forward to say he wants his evidence back. Mr. Hyde said no.Alright! Let's open those babies up!

This new info that Hyde has might just terminate Koffi, and the UN. Which is a good thing.

The persons at risk would be Mr. Volker. Kofi's gonna' kill him when he finds out!

This could get real ugly with the U.N. secret files and Hillary's tight rope walk against the campaign donation scandal about to explode.
The Dem's might want to sit out the next election and let us elect a president who will close the borders to illegal traffic for real.

In our age of photocopy machines and digital scanners, Mr. Volcker's demand may have less to do with any hope of suppressing the information than with finding out exactly what it was that Mr. Parton turned over to Mr. Hyde's team.BINGO!!!
If Volcker doesn't know what Parton gave to Congress, he doesn't know how to lie.
This reminds me of the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal when Bill waited and waited for Starr to depose Lewinsky because he needed to know what she would say in order that he would know how to lie.

Volcker: "People are at risk..." I love it! I would so enjoy seeing Strong get what is due him (as well as Annan et al). I want those boxes of papers to become the "U.N. Commission Report," which I would stand in line to purchase.

And I'll tell you something else, if Volcker is protecting Strong, he is also protecting the people who rule the world.

He truly looked the part of the doddering, fradulent old fool who thought he had his latest scam all buttoned down, only to see it explode in his face.
Volcker needs some grilling on TV under subpoena next.
