Those three Democrats should be overjoyed that their favorite reading material will be located where they can more readily discover it ~ unless, of course, they want it scattered hither and yon for purposes of "cruising" for fresh meat.

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
I really like good news, and I'm sure you all do too.
Power to the people - and most people do NOT want pro-"gay" propaganda shoved down their childrens' throats. The numbers of Americans who do not want, for instance, "gay" marriage are going UP. This is what happens when people themsevles or (most of the time) their duly elected representatives vote about all things "gay", rather than a judge or two or three making decisions "for us".
Let me know if you want on/off this pinglist.

The three Democratic lawmakers who voted against the measure said it would strip power from local library boards and would strain their already stretched resources. We all know how moving books around a library can strain resources. I'm so sock of this whining crap. Kids should NOT be exposed to this trash.

O-o-o-o-kla-ho-o-o-MA where the wind can still come sweeping down the plain! Way to go legislators! Now, about those two Dems who took a wrong turn at an intersection outside Berkeley and ended up by mistake in Oklahoma....

Come on, we know why there would be opposition to this simple plan. As long as these titles are shelved among the rest of the items, the pervs can browse through them with other people being unaware of it. But if they have to walk into a separate section of the library, you might as well paint a sign on their foreheads.

NOOOO this can't happen. How will the gays recruit new young members if they can't promote using visual aides.

Common sense and decency prevail over stupidity and licentiousness.
And that's how it should be!

"I just kind of hate to take that power away from our local libraries to choose the books that they display. They really don't have room or the money to separate them/"
No money to separate them, but apparently enough to buy them. Quandary, there.

It is about time that they took filth like A Streetcar Named Desire, The Great Gatsby, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and half of William Shakespeare's works.
