I agree. We all know the solutions to our problems. Cut taxes, regulations, drill for more oil, build refinaries, more legal reforms ect. But the RINO's stand in the way. The conservative base is fed up. But how to we get more conservatives in power? I think we need to do what the libertarians wanted to do. Move into Blue states and start electing conservative Senators.

I disagree. The conservative base is not fed up, at least not fed up enough to do anything. I'll even predict we'll elect the same Republican Senators and Reps in 2006, regardless of how far left they may have shifted.

You and I maybe fed up, but we are not the majority in the GOP, not by a long shot.

I am beginning to think that all Republicans who are beholden to the party for fundraising are RINOs. I wonder if party allegiance doesn't come with too many strings these days.

The man I admire is Dr. Tom Coburn in Oklahoma. We should clone him. Even if he came up with the occasional wacky position on some issue, one of the other clones would surely argue with him on it! It's part of the Dr. Tom DNA, and that's a good thing.
