The scene in "Life of Brian", where the empewer is fwirting wif Biggus Dickus in pubwick and granting the wewease of anyone named Wodderwick, Weginald, etc.... Could only have been witten by obswerving Bawney Fwank in action.
The scene involving the guards was completely ad libbed. The guys playing the guards had no idea what was coming but were told not to laugh.
