The Senate passed this legislation at 2:00 o'clock this morning, they ram-rodded it through in about 5 hours to keep us from putting on the breaks like we did with the House. It includes increases the "sin" taxes, raises sales tax, increases new car taxes, and sets up the payroll tax AKA Income Tax. The bill must go to Committee now but our only real hope is to flood Gov. Perry with phone calls, faxes and emails. Please ping and email everyone you can to get involved so we can stop this.
