This is true and 20 is not slow enough to miss them in those instances, however parking on the street is not allowed in school zones where I live. In fact the roads are totally free of any obstructions what so ever. You can see 300 yards in both directions.

BTW, 20 IS slow enough for me to avoid a kid coming out from a parked car - if I'm looking for it...
