I agree. It is scary that the difference between an insanely over the top parody of the anti-evolutionist viewpoint reads exactly like something that an anti-evolutionist would post. I caught site of the OP and nearly tapped in a sharp response before I spotted the poster and context.

In fact I think, if I've understood their posts correctly, that there are Freepers who think that life is only maintained from moment to moment by a mystical as-yet-undiscovered supernatural force field.

Almost correct [smile]. Leave out "the as-yet-undiscovered," and you have stepped into the world of science as occupied by Kelvin, Pasteur, and Morse. I would say "and myself" but I am hesitant to classify myself with these luminaries, save to say they trusted (and still trust!) in the same sovereign as I...., the Creator/Sustainer described in the old book.
