I'm beginning to wonder if we would be much worse off with Rats in charge.

I wish you all wouldn't say that; do you think we'd have ANY of the bills passed that Bush has gotten with Democrats in? Torte reform? Even discussing Social Security reform? Please, it's such an insult to the rest of us.

I'm sick to death of gutless career politicians!

Oh, but they're not gutless; all they are thinking about is themselves. As far as they are concenred, Bush is a lame duck and they are all maneuvering for 2006 and 2008.

But what they don't get is that WE are not "done" yet; we were denied a true victory -- a victory that WE had worked hard for -- in 2000, so we now consider Bush's second term the term he was suppose to get things done.

I had the most ridiculous conversation I have EVER had with a senator's staffer about just this thing; I told him that we were dead serious, that we want those judges -- and that they won't believe the hell that will reign down on them if they don't. And he still to this day does not believe me.

If Trent Lott wants to play these silly like high school games with this country and the power that we laid in their hands, fine; we, too, can seek "revenge" because of our "anger."

I will not vote for John McCain.

I will not vote for Richard Lugar.

I will not vote for Chuck Hagel.

Period.

Me either, FRiend, even if it allows a true Rat to win.

I am of the opinion that a hard-left Rat presidency will be the end of this Nation, with violent revolution to follow. Further, I consider this to be inevitable anyway.

I thought it was going to happen in 2000, but the USSC quelled it by not allowing Gore to steal the election. If Hitlery gets in, watch out for your family because all hell will break loose. Electing RINO's just keeps pushing the inevitable further into the future. I had high hopes for GWB and the Rep-held Congress, and I am sorely disappointed with all of them.

I dont tend to be an angry Republican but I agree with you ...if the Senate doesnt take this one on the Senators will be looking for a lot of thise cooling "saucers" they are so fond of, so they can find a place out of the heat
