But... but... haven't they been told that Airbus is taking over the jetliner market? Haven't they been told the future is with the Europeans and their Super-Mega-Jumbo-Monster Plane? Didn't they get the memo?

I was just on the maiden A380 voyage thread the other day getting chewed out over the imminent doom of Boeing.....

Also, Is it just me, or is it wierd to see the Japanese "sun" insignia on a big Boeing aircraft....descendent of the B-29 etc, etc.?!?!?!

I think that needs to be reversed----the imminent doom of Airbus is at hand.

Boeing with its 787 and then new version of the 737 with 787 technology in 5-10 years will take the market by storm.
