I just don't know. It seems intuitive that it's the start of their flu season, but I'm not sure there's anything approaching what we think of winter in Vietnam or Thailand.

I've always thought that flu season here was brought about primarily by people congregating indoors during cold weather. I'm not sure that the temperature or the season has anything directly to do with the flu. I'll bet I'd catch it on the 4th of July if I were exposed to it.

That is the truth. My boss is from Brazil, and it is winter there now (same with Australia). Just something I was curious about.
