We could fix 90% of these problems by doubling the number of mods and allowing the new set to only delete posts from posters who have signed up in the last week. They could also temporarily suspend posters from posting.
The guy's idea is good though. Should not be able to sign up for FR under anonymous emails.
FR may well need a legal eagle on retainer versed in the arcane meanderings of internet law, and how normal statutes apply to FR since it is considered private property as it is a provately owned server.
