The only problem is putting in a bozo filter requires some programming overheads, and why should FR continue to provide any services to said bozos, even if it is them whingeing into thin air?

How about a reverse 'bozo' filter, fellas?
Under this scheme those freepers being harassed by a bozo could bozo ~everyone~ else on FR save for a selected list of [say 50 or so] respondents.
It could be a win/win solution for all.
Bozos would get bozoed by their peers, and the rest of us could discuss issues of the day without all the whining distractions.
