From reading his site, and the conversation between the two of you, I don't see him as a troll, DS.
I think swapping out images to something disgusting like that is a bad thing (just dumping out hot-linking is certainly a far better way to handle that); but I don't see apostropher as our "evil genius" troll (and I use the descriptor term loosely)....
His appearance here 'miraculously' at the time he did was highly improbable.
If he's legit, it would have been better for him to just keep his mouth shut.
