I would hope everybody disagrees with the majority from time to time. But yes, I liked this place immediately - lots of smart people with strong opinions makes for good discussion.

Well, I got pinged but never saw the posts, thank G-d. Whoever he/she/it (horshit) is doesn't know my ethnicity, since I'm a redneck.
I'm a little down for other reasons right now. I've come to the conclusion that so many conservatives (real conservatives, though mostly "palaeos"--not Nazis) don't really believe in G-d at all since they spend all their time defending "Western Civilization" (whatever the sam hill that is) as if our moral code were the creation of the genes and chromosomes of certain ethnic groups. Why is Pat Buchanan running around acting as if G-d will disappear if Europeans become extinct? He obviously believes only in a "gxd" who is a projection of his own particular tribe's "creative genius" rather than an objective, external G-d. And what is his his excuse for believing "Western civilization" is going to be destroyed by his Mexican peasant co-religionists?
Even outside "palaeoconservatism" proper you have people like D. James Kennedy (whose moral positions I share) invoking the Founding Fathers as if they were religious authorities and implying that it is the duty of each nation to be loyal to its own particular religious tradition (read: idol). Even anti-Semites don't bother to accuse Jewish liberals of warring against an objective universal moral order but merely of subverting the "identity" of the "host nation." People like Sam Francis (now deceased) and his ilk don't even have to pay lip service any more to an Objective Universal G-d. Everything has become particular, everything has become local and subjective. Biblicism, Fundamentalism, Messianism, and apocalypticism are rapidly being crowded out on the Right by "civilizationism," tribalism, and "attachment to place."
I fear the entire conservative movement will soon be echoing the Leftist war cry: "Deze are de ways of our pipples."

the problem is, annon- proxy servers ARE legit servers themselves, when a person uses them, they are doing so without permission. they are just 'bouncing' through them.
The email account used to set up a FR account will have the ip number the person's ISP provides at the time, but that may not be the same ip# the next time the person logs on, unless the ISP is static, which most aren't. So you wouldn't be able to verify accounts that way without a lot of troubles.
What FR CAN do, is make sure that the email account providers, like yahoo, hotmail etc. are good ones which do not allow accounts to be made from proxy servers. This way you know you can trace and find out who the person is if need be.
I'm not sure, but there are limits to how many email accounts they all each pc to make, do they not? And I do know for sure that you must use your real ISP ip to create an account with them.
Another way for FR to tighten up accounts, is to demand that only your ISP's email be allowed, don't allow these 3rd party email services to be used to create accounts. That way, you KNOW who the user really is, and can simply call his ISP and have his account cancelled, or give it to the internet police for criminal charges.
