I wonder why Terri's family isn't promoting this ruling? Falls under the "but that's different catagory"?
Well, it's certainly inconsistent with what the Schindlers have been saying about Michael Schiavo since he refused to give them half of his jury award (net $300,000) for loss of consortium. But if I was the Schindlers, I wouldn't bring it up, either. After all, it would be very difficult to explain this testimony regarding Michael Schiavo (at the malpractice trial) from Mary Schindler, in light of her less complimentary comments in later years:
"He's there every day. He is loving, caring. I don't know of any young boy that would be as attentive. He's just been unbelieveable. And I know without him there is no way I could have survived all this."
