Looks like Hagel hasnt been reading his
Foreign Affairs. The U.S. is a
Hyperpower, and Hagel is supposed to think this is
bad.

That American dominance has ended seems to be part of the RINO mantra, a kind of accommodationist
fait accompli that manifests as resignation and a gleeful acceptance of our own obsolescence.
These are certainly leaders that inspire greatness, aren't they?

Sen. Chuck Hagel ia a U.N boy

Funny how a Hagel or Powell staffer said that the two talk frequently. Guess this is some insight into one of their topics of conversation.

Hagel's campaign slogan. "Vote for me and I'll manage America's decline more gracefully than anyone else." Uh uh. "Chuck" Hagel: "Chuck" is a verb.

Forget the party names. Replace them with conservatives. Rock ribbed, hard core, American first conservatives.

Pardon my newbie-ness, but what exactly is a "RINO?"Republican In Name Only
To: wagglebee
very true, but to do that we need to dilute the power of the RINO.
Bill Nelson in FL replaced by a conservative republican (vote for FMA, pro-2nd amendment) would be a good start.
Basically RINO's are creatures of wind and whim not conviction, they will not do a jumping jim jeffords because EVERYONE knows whatever he recieved was not worth it. Enough real republicans would have no problem pushing them around as needed.

RINO = Republican In Name Only

Specter is intolerable as well, as Penn has shown it can and does elect Conservatives to statewide office. It can, but PA is also about to whip Santorum's arse and send him packing, sadly.

never work. Giuliani or McCain would scoop up those kinds of voters long before any of them would vote for Chuck Who?
To: Crazieman
Hagel was was very skeptical about the war. He said that "if Richard Perle is so gung ho to invade Iraq, maybe Richard Perle should be in harms way".
Hagel has shown rank disrespect towards neo-conservatives & the neo conservative desire to use US military power for nation building.
