Is this great news, or what?
"There's nothing like the scene of soldiers getting a package and turning to share it with their friends and fellow soldiers," Rothman wrote in an e-mail from Iraq on Tuesday. "When it's something homemade, something unique that reminds you of home and of your civilian life, it can really make your day."

Shame some how someone can't arrange for thousands of kegs of beer to be shipped into Iraq and Afganistan, via. barrels marked as some given petroleum lubrication. The salami would really go down great.

Reminds me of the sign in Katz's deli (lower Manhattan):
"Send a salami to your boy in the Army."
