Just watch, he is going to be the republicans best chance at retaining the executive branch. Anyone else that could do it, with that kind of name recognition? In reality folks, not wishful thinking.

The reality is, McCain stands no chance at the GOP nomination. McCain has stabbed the base of the party in the back way too many times to even be a real contender. Besides, McCain is an unstable whacko who should not be put in that position no matter what his politics are.

Seems to me that a guy who votes the conservative way 80%+ of the time is far preferable to a guy who votes the conservative way 20%- of the time. What do I know - it takes a certain myopia to consider McCain an enemy.

The problem with McCain is he votes conservative when it doesn't matter. McCain ditches the party when we really need him, case in point judicial nominations. McCain really damaged himself during the 2000 race by attacking Christian Conservatives. He slightly redeemed himself with a solid speech at the convention. But unless McCain will go to bat for the party on the important issues, he can not win in the primary.

On the odd chance that you are serious, let me give you the shorthand.

The MSM props up McCrisis during the run-up phase and in the primaries so that they can do what they've always wanted to do -- unload on him during the general election phase (with his ton of dirty baggage and his proven disdain for Christian conservatives) -- solely to elect the Dum candidate. Period.

McCrazy mistakenly believes that he can "triangulate" on every issue and somehow grab enough rat votes to offset the loss of the Republican conservative base. Not only is his political strategy flawed, it's insane.

He's also full of hatred, and it's always just below the surface ready to be scratched.

The MSM lets that part of the McCain psyche remain unexplored as long as he's attacking the repubs.

Let him win a repub nomination, however, and the whole game would shift 180 degrees. McCain would be portrayed as more unbalanced than Nixon, and guess what? -- it's TRUE!!

The future of our nation depends on the Constitutionalist/liberal differences, not the difference between Democrats and Republicants, being that there is very little difference anyway.
