My understanding is that it's the other guy (the one not captured) who took over for Muhammad. Also, they didn't wait that long to release details of the capture because it wasn't figured out that they didn't have the guy they claimed to have and they put out a picture of a guy who isn't even the guy they claimed to have captured. Al Qaeda must be laughing hysterically. Also any benefit of claiming they captured Al Libbi was ruined as soon as they posted a picture of the wrong guy.
