You really ought to read "The Voyage of the Beagle" where Chucky describes the natives of Tiera del Fuego thusly:

"I could not have believed how wide was the difference between savage and civilized man: it is greater than between a wild and domesticated animal,"

Are you STILL going to stupidly argue that Darwin didn't believe that the Caucasoid was superior to Negroid?

Your quote still doesn't actually show support for Darwin having racist tendencies, because it does not include a claim that the defining qualitiy of 'savage' versus 'civilized' was skin colour. The statement that you quoted would be entirely consistent with someone claiming that the differences that produced savage or civilized men were entirely cultural. Now, I'm not going to assert that as the basis of Darwin's statements -- I'm aware that he, like all men in his position at his time, including those who rejected his theory (and are you even reading my posts because I said this earlier and you seem to be pretending that I've said the opposite) had some racist tendencies, but it would be nice if you quoted something that actually supported your claims.

And are you going to apologize for presenting a Lincoln quote and claiming that it was from Darwin, or is it true that being a creationist means never having to say that you're sorry now matter how often you screw up?
