"Read the UN charter, and pay special attention to the part where it says: Shall supersede Constitutions of each Nation. . . . ." "

That’s irrelevant. They can say whatever they like. We didn’t say it, or make a formal treaty to accept that provision as far as I know.

the poster was right that they were lucky they didn't get wacod

You bettcha! It would have happened if Bubba and Janet ran the show. As it is, the Minutemen got a pass - this time.

The least we would have seen would be brigades of ATFE ninjas with police dogs and handcuffed grandmothers being dragged to paddywagons only to be indicted under some felony charge or other and the trial venue moved to South Central L.A.!

There would be NO violation of the "law" permitted, nosiree.

Is this guy for real? He wants the illegals to be above the law?

We have Federal laws to cover this sort of thing but it is the local officials who thumb their noses and say they are not going to comply. Then the Feds back off and let them get away with it.

These issues need to be put on the front burner so that more people in America know about them and the contempt our governments have for it's own citizens.

The illegals have infiltrated and taken us over. We now work for them. They have more, and much better rights than we do, apparently. See post

Next, we will be treated to human sacrifce, with Americans being the body doners. Oh! pardon me, we already have that in the form of illegal drugs brought in here and sold, tas free for the great profit of the 'drug lords'.

I agree with him. We should not impound their cars. However, we should impound them, until they can be shipped back wherever they came from.

What part of "ILLEGAL" do they not get?

I have a great sense of admiration for many who have come here without going through proper channels. There's something very American about someone who doesn't exactly follow all of the particulars of every law. We're a nation of semi-anarchists and I welcome those who can beat the system to get here but then settle down and become Americans in fact (not hyphenated Americans intent on removing the "American" from their label, like La Raza).

But I have no sympathy for someone who claims that we owe them anything when they have broken the law to get here.

You wanna extort from me by legislation and court edict? We can get our own laws and our own court orders and there are a lot more of us than there are of them.

Would the last American leaving California, bring the flag!

I was living near Miami in the very early '80s and remember bumber stickers that basically said the same thing.  Funny, how things never change, do they?

To blame ONLY the President makes you sound like every liberal out there right now ... all problems are Bush's fault. Way too easy of a cop-out answer

Bush didn't create the problem but he has the power to fix most of it but refuses to. He also makes the problem worse by denouncing efforts to stem illegal immigration and praising the illegals.

Since he has the power to fix most of this problem but refuses to, then yes, he does deserve a lot of blame.

Sen. Gil Cedillo, D-Los Angeles, has proposed a measure that would exempt undocumented motorists from vehicle-impound laws

Sen. Cedillo is a traitor and I'm confused why he isn't being treated as one.

They are doing a new MMP in San Diego, scheduled for August.

That, the Channel 62 signs (and the great KFI response), the new ID requirements, the proposal in CA to establish a california border patrol -- the illegal immigration issue is getting legs like it has never had before.

I agree.  I stand by our President on almost all his issues, but lately there have been things that make me question his judgement.  The illegal alien problem is one, that "hand-holding" episode made me sick to my stomach is another.  His constant refusal to call terrorism by it's real name, Islam, is the biggest of all, though.

We should take their cars and anything else that they have here in America with them, sell it all and use the funds to send them back where they came from, and to prevent any more illegal entrances into the USA.

No one hates islam more than myself but no purpose would be served by the President demonizing that particular "religion".

It strikes me the same as calling 50's style racism "by its real name: White People" when in fact the problem was not "White People" but rather "A$$holes Who Were White".

There's a difference and it's big.

Maybe not, but I wish he would at least quit calling it a "religion of peace".  There is nothing peaceful about it.

They do it with drug dealers and they should do it here too.

Yes, Cedillo wants his fellow Latinos, the illegal alien Latinos, to be above the law. Not too racist, is it?
