My doctor said to take Omega-3 also and I started it before allergy season. I also take a normal level Vitamin C. On the radio, some Omega-3 company was saying that their brand was best because it didn't have mercury in it and that some brands and some fish where the Omega-3 comes from have mercury in them. Ever heard of this? I just take Walgreens....
Oh, forgot to ask....I have heard that corn and corn products in manufactured foods can be an irritant. Also, I've heard that watermelon and bananas (high sugar content) can bother the immune system enough to open the door for the allergy prone to suffer, but I did not know about soy. My allergist said the Wes Soy brand was a-okay; maybe different formulations make a difference?
