What an amazing profile. I like Rowe, especially Gladiator. Watched it about 20 times now. I will check out the Gladiator forum. Not much into Grant. I went to college in Davenport, IA. Good luck on your walk!
Wow - this is close to me! I'm gonna ask my HPD buddies if they know Officer Zamora.
Thanks for the spooky neighborhood ping!
I didn't see the NY prison episode... what happened there?
What's the name of the lightening novel? Sounds intriguing.
I have seen St. Elmo's Fire on cattle horns on a hot night and on a pig's back in the snow.
In our first townhouse on Briar Forest (the Walnut Bend townhomes, for you Houstonians), my fiance and I saw things we still can't explain.
The hair dryer plugged in in the bathroom upstairs would turn on while we were both downstairs. There were cold spots that let's face it, you can't explain in 105-degree Houston, Texas.
The scariest, though, was when he awoke to find a woman bending over him who wasn't me.
Was she hot?
Given that you are known to carry edged weapons, I'd say that was quick thinking on his part ... so long as he sticks with the story!!
It was a ghost, honey, I swear!
interesting
I just was on Briar Forest a few minutes ago. Did the ghost make you move?
Someone had to post it.
The episode you speak of is indeed a Growing Pains episode. The Grandfather dies, and Mike Seaver (Kirk Cameron) sees the grandfathers ghost jogging into the back door and through the kitchen. The Grandfather didnt come into the Kitchen for a drink, but Mike did. He came into the kitchen, takes the milk carton for a drink, watches his grandfathers ghost enter the kitchen through the back door, says "Hi Mike." and keeps on jogging through. Mike drops the milk carton onto the floor in shock.
Growing Pains - I had completely forgotten that title.
The idea that grandfather did not know he was dead stayed with me as I've heard that notion before. I think that WAS the situation, was it not? He did not realize he died?
And Kirk Cameron, I have not thought of him in ages.
Shivers!
This is true. After seeing the Grandfathers ghost in the kitchen for the second or third time, he forces himself to go to the kitchen for another encounter to try to mae contact with the ghost. Mike manages to stop the grandfather in mid jog while still in the kitchen, pointing out to him that he died. And this is news to the grandfather's ghost. He doesnt even realize that he was dead.
This epsiode has stayed with me too. (I have read somewhere that some ghosts dont even realize that they are dead) And if you liked that plotline, then you should see the Nicole Kidman movie: "The Others"
You've got mail.
Pinging to read later! :)
