Do states along the southern border (AZ, NM, TX) support inititiaves? (I already know CA does) What are the chances of something in, say, TX authorizing a state-based border patrol a'la Arnold's suggestion? Maybe his idea deserves to grow :)

Is it Vicente Fox only? It is often stated that 55% of the illegals come from Mexico. 20% from Central and South America. 25% from the rest of the world.

I'm sure you have seen the demographic projections. In 15 years there will be no more mexicans available to come to the US. If you think having too many mexicans is a problem, wait until there are not enough.
