President Bush needs to put this issue to bed, now, before there is a Supreme Court vacancy. If this issue is not settle before then, there will never be anything but a compromise candidate accepted by the Senate. That's a deal-breaker for me. If the President cannot accomplish this one thing, he does not deserve my support.
