The funny thing: DailyKOS has this, and has a comment that 4 different people have confirmed the story.
But what they mean (in true democrat fashion) is that 4 people SAW THE NEWS STORY.
The pastor, as it says in the report up above, denies this had anything to do with politics.
Why should we chose sides until we know the story.
When people are thrown out of a church, there is always a lot of animosity, and people make up reasons why it happened to make themselves sound better.

If you watch the clip they start out saying the problem was abortion and Gay marriage. They were asked to resign their position according to one of them or repent. This means they were in leadership positions.
If you look at the clip you will see that all of these people are over 60.They belong to a generation in the SBC church that were very concerned with the "priesthood of the believer".They have a difficult time with the fact the SBC has cleaned up their seminaries and become more true to traditional Baptist beliefs. These people would be much happier in a Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Church with women deacons and gay preachers.
This is know different than the Catholic Church denying Communion to politicians to support abortion. We are told not to fellowship with the unrighteous.
