I'm sure they did a good job when Scott was a kid.
Since he has been convicted of double murder, your opinion would seem to assume a fact not in evidence.

The truth doesn't seem to enter into the Peterson family dynamic.

He will win on appeal and be set free.Dead wrong; the appeal is ONLY about mistakes the judge made; he bent over backwards for Geragos and Peterson.
BTW, just so you and Lee will know, you don't have to prove motive, nor identify a crime scene, nor even prove how death occurred.

Because of them, a man is on death row and a family is hurting beyond all comprehension. Really? I wonder how Laci's family is feeling.
Scott Peterson was convicted because the jury believes he killed his wife and unborn son. The evidence showed him to be a manipulative, sociopathic, pathological lying narcissist with no remorese and no feelings of any kind.
His lack of emotion upon his guilty verdict speaks volumes, IMO. It is beyond me that one who is truly not guilty of a crime would sit there calmly while being read a verdict of "guilty" for the crime.
The guy did it and he won't be free ever again. Mr. Peterson needs to accept the fact that he raised a sociopathic murderer.

Well, there's the rub; he can't or won't. Like the letter writer said, if he really was innocent, he should have taken the stand.

I am curious about the cost of an investigation, any investigation. The people who conduct the investigation are county/city/state employees are they not? They get a salary whether they are sitting on their butts or gathering information, correct? Where does the huge cost come from, overtime, lab test? Where?

Mr. Peterson has his head stuck in the sand.

I saw the book written by Scottie's half-sister at Costco today. She says he's a killer.
To: Sloth
Interesting that he doesn't even mentioned his murdered daughter-in-law, just whining about his perverted murderous son who killed both his wife and son only days before Christmas and then dumped them in the ocean while he carried on a torrid affair and sneared at the searchers and we the public. This is truly a disgusting family.
To: Howlin
"Whatever makes you think Lee's a screwball? I mean, just because on the day the jury found his son guilty of a double murder he was hundreds of miles away buying himself a Jaguar doesn't mean he doesn't care." Oh, I see your point. My bad! :)

You read Catherine Cryer's book, right? Did it bring much new about that Peterson family dynamic?
It is just so glaring that there is no mention of his grandson; it's still all about the golden boy who can do no wrong.

"I hope his conviction will be reversed." Scott Peterson was convicted on VERY STRONG circumstancial evidence. Which is what almost all convictions are based on.
This conviction will only be overturned if there is found to have been a gross error made by the court, prosecution, or police.
It will never be overturned just because they don't know the manner of the murder.

Yes, I did read it; I felt like I was right there!
They are a sick family; toxic, in fact.
