People are a risk? What the hell does that mean?
He must mean beautiful people who work at the UN. These people don't give a damn about the people of Iraq, or say, the Sudan, being at risk.
Well, after all, they are the only ones that matter.
I think that the people at risk are those testifying before the committee. Parton took with him a large volume of documents, despite having signed a confidentiality agreement. This is the crux of the issue that jeopardizes the rest of the investigation. The investigation may as well shut down once they make those documents public, no matter what the documents prove.
I have 2 thoughts. Why would Volker allow desperation to be broadcast over the airways and define his position? What is that important to a Democrat that he would do it?Now I speculate.....some of the money went to try to get Gore or Kerry elected? Some of the money went directly to Chelsey's numbered Swiss Bank account.....Bill is directly related to some of these dealings (remember Marc Rich)... I do not know....but something or someone put Volker up for this discomfort and he obliged....WHY? It has to attach to the democrats at some level.
