Well, Putin is wrong in that we are not a democracy but rather, a representative republic - hence the electoral college. Mike Wallace should know this but since Putin is criticizing the USA heaven forbid that Wallace get in his way!

I'm glad the Japanese and Germans don't agree with you. They would still be a menace to the world. I do believe that in both countries, democracy was imported.

Putin is a smart man. Yes he's a shady thug but he knows how to turn the critical arguement 180 degrees. All Putin's points are relevant.
