Besides Utah do you think Cannon with his open border position could win nationally against Tancredo? Or even in Utah for that matter in a head to head competition?

In a race for a Republican nomination, I think Tancredo would do better, but in a race within Utah, Cannon would win. Being Mormon counts for a LOT in this state.

You're probably correct since they keep re-electing Cannon. Maybe in 2006 the people of his district will see the light if another conservative runs against him in the primary.
