The problem is not that this is a football player, the problem is that the teacher violated district rules. He has been there 23 years - he should know the rules. I do not believe that grades should be used for punishment. It is rare that I would find something in among school administrations in todays schools to support, but this I do. The teacher is wrong. The teacher is stubborn. Standing on wrong principles does not make him right just because he is standing on 'principle'.
