I know some missionaries who go to Cuba several times a year. They always try to take vitamins and aspirins. They say a lot of the kids show protein-deprivation and vitamin deficiency diseases.

One of them told me he could be universally loved in Cuba if he could bring a shipment of toilet seats into the country. There are no longer any such luxuries to be found. Anywhere.
